The sighting

Occasionally an !explore turns up what looks like an enormous treasure pile — thousands of coins, by the description. The sighting message is one of several variations, all equally overstated.

Claim the pile. You have 3 minutes from the sighting.

The actual payout is 40–50 gold, delivered with a message explaining why the pile was smaller than advertised. Cooldown is 3 seconds.

If you run !porkbarrel without a sighting, or after the 3 minutes have elapsed, the bot tells you there is nothing waiting and points you back to !explore.

Notes

The sighting is rolled after the main explore table, so it competes with finding nothing rather than with the ordinary loot outcomes. Only one sighting is held at a time — a newer one replaces the last.
